About Myokanko

The origin of Myokanko

Myokanko is a Hokkeko group that belongs to Rikyobo at the Head Temple, Taisekiji. 67th High Priest Nikken Shonin approved its formation in August 1980. "Hokkeko" is the fundamental name of Nichiren Shoshu believers bestowed by the founder Nichiren Daishonin, and "ko" means a group of believers who belong to a particular temple and conduct activities as a unit.
